Topic: The Application of Mathematical Modeling and Pathogen Genomics to Infectious Diseases

Today, we were honored to have Professor Hsiao-Han Chang from the College of Life Sciences and Medicine at National Tsing Hua University give a talk at our institute. Professor Chang delivered an engaging presentation on the application of genetic variation research in infectious diseases. She shared insights from her practical experience, highlighting the unique features brought about by genetic differences in various pathogens. 

The audience, composed of both faculty and students, was highly enthusiastic during the talk, and there was plenty of time for lively discussion afterward. It was a pleasant and informative afternoon.
